Single Camera vs. Multi-Camera Set-Up
Each performance is different and has its own demands. We offer Single-Camera and Multi-Camera videography set-ups for your dance presentation.
Depending on how involved you want our process to be will determine which set-up fits you best. Larger schools typically prefer the two-camera set-up because it captures more. Smaller schools tend to choose the single-camera option due to the limited number of dancers on stage. Each package provides a professional recording with outstanding quality.
Audio
Both set-ups come with professional audio recording as well. We bring our own sound board to ensure an accurate high-quality audio recording. Each venue offers its own audio challenges, and this method gives us the most control.
Most performances have tap numbers and we provide a tap mic for ambience sound. These numbers rarely have loud audio and being able to hear the shoes tap really brings the experience home.
We also facilitate an audience mic to add more atmosphere for the Blu Ray/DVD. Hearing the audience react to the performances helps enliven the viewing experience.
Backstage Monitors
Some of our dance organizations ask for backstage monitors that preview the performance for stage queues. They also help with keeping the younger dancers busy while they wait for their turn to perform. We provide up to 2 monitors upon request.
Montage Sequences
A video that details candid moments of the pre-show and the performance can also be added to your package. These Montage Sequences are about 3 minutes long and capture a behind-the-scenes feel for the event. They have grown in popularity over the years.
Custom Blu Rays and DVDs
The media format we provide are Blu Rays and DVDs. We create a custom case and disc for each order by using the related logos and artwork for the event. You may also suggest a design for your order and we can accommodate that. Creating and printing the cases and discs are the final steps for your event and we do not cut any corners.
Choreography
Choreography if very important. Not only for the dancers involved, but also for the viewing experience of the audience. We want to capture your design perfectly so you may review it later. Our wide-angle camera shot is used primarily for this by Dance School Directors during the off-season.
